Who I Am

Hi, my name is Pernilla and I am the artist who created the White Wasp Studio, a private tattoo studio located in Logan Utah. I have Lived in Cache Valley since 2016! I am committed to provide a positive tattooing experience and determined to push the limitations of the community and evolve the art of tattooing in a way that is non-traditional. 

I named my tattoo shop the “White Wasp Studio” because I want to embody the duality of light and dark by representing a more positive outlook on tattooing and life that is hard to find in the tattoo industry. A wasp represents determination. Some cultures believe a wasp is the symbol of control over your life circumstances and signifies evolution, progress, development, and order. A wasp inspired me to stop wishing on my dreams and start acting on them. I knew I wanted to be a tattoo artist in 2015 when I was 17 years old. When I turned 18, it seemed virtually impossible to find an apprenticeship. After getting rejected and overlooked for too long, I decided to teach myself how to tattoo in 2022 at almost 24 years old.
